Kylie's Demonstrator training February Blog Hop.

Thank you for joining us for our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop this month! We are all part of a training program that has the sole purpose of improving our Stampin' Up!® businesses and to learn from a variety of top Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world. Please be sure to 'HOP' all of the way around to all of the projects on this Blog Hop, there is a list at the bottom of the page that will help you to make your way around. Today I wanted to challenge myself to try something a  bit different by showing the versatility of any stamp set - even if it only has a few images - and do three cards  with either different techniques or use the stamp in a different way.  Maybe even look at the stamps in the set and see what else I can do with them. I thought this would be a good way to show someone, that may be interested in a particular set, or trying to decide, or thinking a particular set didn't do very much, to think again and see the possibilities.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Wendy Cranford

Welcome! This week we have another exciting blog hop with Wendy Cranford from Luvinstampin.com. I really enjoyed looking through her blog finding a project that I was going to CASE (copy and selectively edit). The project I chose was this one: I was taken with the colour blending and the use of the die cut over it. I decided to use a watercolour wash for my colour blending.  I used Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, and Soft Sea Foam.   The beautiful die cut is from the Lovely Flowers edgelits, which I put over the top allowing some of the watercolour wash to peek through. I finished it off with some Bermuda Bay ribbon and a sentiment form the Incredible Like You stamp set.  I love these colours but just think how many other colourways you could do this card! Give it a try! But before you do, hop on over to the next blog and see what my fellow Crazy Crafters have designed this week.

What a great way to get ideas on all the amazing new product than with a card swap! Organised by one of the Crazy Crafters, Nicole, we had to create a card front using anything from the new Occasions Catalogue or Sale-a-bration products - those are the freebies you get for every $AU90 you spend - and that is soooo easy to do once you see what's  inside the new catalogue! As the name says, there are new designs for all those upcoming occasions - Valentine's, Easter, Mother's  Day,  and almost anything

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Meg Loven

This week the Crazy Crafters are hopping with the talented Meg Loven. Even after I had found the card I was going to CASE (copy and selectively edit) from reading through Megs blog  https://lovenstamps.com/ , I must admit, I went on a bit of stalking mission and watched several of her videos over at her You Tube channel "Loven Stamps".  They were a bit addicting,  and very entertaining and I may have watched quite a few!!! But enough of that, let's have a look at the card I chose to CASE! The Designer Series Paper was the star of this card so I decided to use some from the new All My Love pack.  Beautiful double sided sheets that go with two of the new stamp sets in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue. Let's take a look at my version of Megs card! Isn't this paper just gorgeous? I used the colours from the DSP -  Crumb cake behind the paper,  Flirty Flamingo for the stitched circle,  Soft Sea Foam for the label using th

Colour INKspiration challenge #CI48

The guys over at Colour INKspiration have a new colour challenge every fortnight on a Wednesday evening.   I love to see what the new combination is and what I can do with it. I am really thrilled to be a guest for this Colour INKspiration #CI48 blog hop! Our beautiful colours for this challenge are inspired by the picture below: Gorgeous isn't it! I set to work and came up with a couple of cards - one I gave to a friend who needed cheering up.  She loved the colours and it certainly put a smile on her face! Here is the other one that I created with #simplestamping in mind.   I used the Abstract Impressions stamp set which uses two step stamping to get the depth in the image.  For the flowers, I used the Blushing Bride as the first impression and then Calypso Coral as the highlight.   For the small flowers (dots) I used Bermuda Bay, stamped off once as the background and then full strength for the highlight.  The leaves were Tranquil Tide. The

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Amy Koenders

We are lucky to be hopping with Amy Koenders from Atlanta, Georgia. I visited her blog - stampwithamyk.com - and chose a card to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) from her collection of beautiful designs. I was inspired by a few but the one that I chose was this one: I just loved it!  The simplicity of it created such impact. So I set to using one of the new stamp sets, Piece of Cake. I  embossed  in Silver then used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut it out which gave me a nice stitched edge around my circle. I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Expressions set and embossed that in silver too. I then carefully cut around the word Congratulations Before I put it all together I added a little Blushing Bride to the flowers on the cake and used it to stamp a little heart.   Here's what it looked like all put together: I hope you like my version of Amy's card.  It's perfect for a wedding this weekend! Crazy Crafters blog hop with Dena Rekow

This week we are hopping with Dena Rekow and using her blog  http:// www.thecreativitycave.com/  as inspiration. I spent so long looking through Dena's blog - not because I couldn't find anything, but because I loved so much! In the end I decided to use this card as my inspiration.  I loved the simplicity and the depth created with the different green ink colours used. And here is the card I created. I used the open leaf from Healing Hugs stamp set and stamped it in the colours  Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade and Lemon Lime Twist - such a juicy fruit mix of colours!   I wanted the colours to be uplifting for the sentiment that I used from the Friendly Expressions stamp set.  I embossed the background with the Lovely Floral embossing folder to give added dimension and then mounted the embossed and stamped panels on Pineapple Punch. I cut around the sentiment and layered it with dimensionals. All in all, an uplifting ca
