Never entered a challenge before!!!
This was something new for me, but I thought I would give it a go.
The colours set for us from Colour INKspiration were :
I was inspired by these colours - don't they look so exotic, so fun???!!
My mind went into overdrive with ideas.
Some worked, some didn't!
I tried the "smoosh" technique, where I pressed my card against the inks that have been watered down on a block. Uh-ah, no, that didn't come out too good. Ended up with a, sort of, brown mess.
I knew I wanted to use the Delicate Details stamp set in the gold or the sentiment in gold. I have limited Stampin' Up sentiments but enough to make this work, I thought.
I ended up with two very different cards - and I love them both!!
My first card using the Delicate Details with some paper roses to finish it off.
The second is using the Falling flowers stamp set and May Flowers framelits
See! Two so different. Just shows where your ideas can take you sometimes!
So I posted them on the challenge site and I hope they like them as much as I do!
