Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Lisa Curcio

Image may contain: text

Today the Crazy Crafters are Blog Hopping with Lisa Curcio.
We were to select a card that Lisa has made and CASE it (Copy and selectively edit).

Looking through Lisa's blog (Lisa's stamp studio) there was so much to choose from - great techniques, fun folds, great use of DPS and all the latest products.

I finally settled on one I found from April this year.

Lisa did her card with masks and embossing paste but I decided to use stamps.
I used the Distinktive rose stamp from the set Healing Hugs.

My choice of colours were:
Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana (have I said how much I love this colour??) and Gorgeous Grape with highlights of black.

I used the Friendly Expression stamp set for the sentiment and fussy cut around it, mounted it on black and fussy cut around that to match. I then popped it up on dimensionals.

The Distinktive style of stamps give lots of detail with just one impression - no need to layer!

See the light and dark impression, giving depth to the image - and all made so easy!

Don't forget to stop by and see what the other Crazy Crafters have made - see their links below.

You should definitely try this for yourself!
Pop over to my shop and get it today!

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop - CASEing Jessica Taylor

This week we are CASEing Jessica Taylor - number 118 globally!!!  Wow!! Looking at her blog I can see why.  It is full of amazing information to help you get started, try new techniques and full of inspiration. There was plenty to choose from to CASE  - I was spoilt for choice but I loved the look of this collection using a retired Sale-a-bration set. I updated the look with the new Animal Outing set from the new catalogue (coming very soon!!!) This set has some very cute animal images - the only one I didn't use was the Giraffe. The Kangaroo has a little Koala in it's pouch - very cute and a nice tribute to us stampers down under!  I decided, as he had the little arm (?) sticking out, it was just right to hold a sign. I used the Petal passion paper as it has many black and white papers to choose from, and this reminded me of jungle vines. The Rhino, not often thought as a cute, is just that, especially with the ...

Kylie's Demonstrator training February Blog Hop.

Thank you for joining us for our Demonstrator Training Blog Hop this month! We are all part of a training program that has the sole purpose of improving our Stampin' Up!® businesses and to learn from a variety of top Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world. Please be sure to 'HOP' all of the way around to all of the projects on this Blog Hop, there is a list at the bottom of the page that will help you to make your way around. Today I wanted to challenge myself to try something a  bit different by showing the versatility of any stamp set - even if it only has a few images - and do three cards  with either different techniques or use the stamp in a different way.  Maybe even look at the stamps in the set and see what else I can do with them. I thought this would be a good way to show someone, that may be interested in a particular set, or trying to decide, or thinking a particular set didn't do very much, to think again and see the possibilities....

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Wendy Cranford

Welcome! This week we have another exciting blog hop with Wendy Cranford from Luvinstampin.com. I really enjoyed looking through her blog finding a project that I was going to CASE (copy and selectively edit). The project I chose was this one: I was taken with the colour blending and the use of the die cut over it. I decided to use a watercolour wash for my colour blending.  I used Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, and Soft Sea Foam.   The beautiful die cut is from the Lovely Flowers edgelits, which I put over the top allowing some of the watercolour wash to peek through. I finished it off with some Bermuda Bay ribbon and a sentiment form the Incredible Like You stamp set.  I love these colours but just think how many other colourways you could do this card! Give it a try! But before you do, hop on over to the next blog and see what my fellow Crazy Crafters have designed this week.
